Twilight of the Gods

Astarte sat in a thoughtful silence.

"Something on your mind?" Mortal asked Astarte.

L"I thought I told you to call me Lilith."

*Lilith reaches into a Garganta & pulls out a saltshaker. She begins pouring salt around the house.*

A"I guess...why does he think they're involved, anyway?"

"It is just..." Astarte seemed to hesitate, as though she had yet to finish thinking. "I don't know. An ability such as this human's is far too unpredictable. We do not even know the extent of his control over his victims."
Astarte lifted her arms above her head and stretched before continuing, "I believe the humans should be questioned."

"Salt?" Noct asked.

"I don't know," Sab replied to Aroma.

Mortal nodded, "Perhaps we should see if the humans are home yet." With that she opened a garganta to Noctale's house.

*And so they arrived to see Lilith show off.*

L"Do I question how you talk to shadows?"

E"Hey, you mastered the Garganta!"

L"Pretty cool, huh?"

"Your control over the mundane is truly stunning," Mortal said. Sab elbowed her, "Alright, I'm sorry, that was rude..."

Noct looked at the arrancar and let out a long sigh, "Please don't tell me there is another war going on, I swear I will... I don't know what I'll do, but you'll all regret it."

Astarte could hardly keep herself from sneering at Noctis, but kept herself quiet.

A"We were hoping you would know what's going on, actually."

E"What are you talking about?"

*Lilith just stands there looking deflated since Mortal put her down. Jerk.*

Mortal noticed Lilith all sad and frowned, "I said I was sorry... Look, you can rip a hole in space time, you should feel proud."

Sab tried to get to the point, "There is supposedly a fullbringer with mind control powers. He already invaded Las Noches, and attacked Senthose."

Noct shrugged, "Doesn't seem like anyone I know of. Euryale?"

"Rather than just think about anybody you may know who can control minds, would you please tell us about any strange events or circumstances you have been involved with recently?" Astarte cut in. "They would almost certainly be related."

E"We were attacked by a FullBringer who claimed to have started Xcution, but his power was time. And besides, Gevurah is the one who started Xcution. Which, we now know, was meant to be his own personal army to invade the Soul Society. Jerk."

*Euryale crosses her arms as Lilith forces a weak smile.*

"Do you know who the guy was?" Sab asked.

"I think he said his name was Giriko."

"They could be working together," Astarte suggested. "It would be too strange if they weren't."

E"If they're FullBringers, then what do they want in Hueco Mundo?"

L"Revenge, maybe?"

Mortal seemed confused, "Why revenge? What did Hueco Mundo... right, yea, never mind..."

"This 'Xcution' you speak of... is it possible that these Fullbringer's are hiding there?" Astarte asked, hoping to have found a substantial lead.

E"Xcution is the official name of our FullBringer group. It's not a place. Although...we do have a couple of hideouts, some of which were probably forgotten of when Gevurah died."

L"You mean like that mansion Senthose 'borrowed'?"

"What mansion?" Noct asked.

"A mansion which Senthose occupied," Astarte answered. "I believe it isn't far from here."

"We had a mansion and we never used it?" Noct asked.

"I believe you are missing the point..." Sab said.

L"Hm. That's odd."

E"What is?"

L"I can't seem to open a Garganta to it."

Sab gave Mortal a dirty look, "What? I wasn't going to say anything!"

"Good," Sab then turned to Lilith, "I can still teleport us there to find out what is going on."

Astarte felt a pit in her stomach and frowned, her eyes turning to the ground. Senthose was very distinctly absent- she had not even seen him leave the mansion, and now it was inaccessible by Garganta.

L"I'm not so sure that's a good idea. If this place is sealed off from Garganta, that means someone with an advanced knowledge of Hollows & Kido is probably using it. Someone we know nothing about. And if this mind-altering FullBringer is involved, we don't know anything about how his power works either."
