"Hell Guards, huh?" Hector leaned forward as Eduj sat down. "That sounds cool... what exactly were they?"

A"They most certainly were not. They were giant, invincible monsters that looked like rotting gorilla carcasses. But they didn't have to worry about them when we were there, because they had cloaks that rendered them invisible to the beasts. They did all have chains on them, though. Keter gilded hers."

John<Eh?>

*John looks & waves back to Noctis.*

John<Yeah, we know a few.>

Jackie<I see. How unfortunate for you.>

*She puts the glass down a little harder than necessary.*

E"Umm...everyone, this is Lilith & Atae. And Noctis, my girlfriend."

*She squeezes Noctis to her side.*

Ginjo<Yo. I'm Kugo Ginjo. That's Jackie and Yukio. We just started working with Mr. John, here. There are a few more of us, but they aren't here right now.>

E"...Mr. John?"

Noct waved again, "I already know Yukio, and Jackie." She looked up at Jackie, "Its been a while Jackie, how are things?" She then paused a second, "Since you're already back there think you can get me a glass of vodka."

Atae waved hello to everyone.

"Keter gilded all of hell, it was kind of weird," Mortal said, "She set up churches to herself."

"Whoa... It really does sound like a big adventure, though, my attraction is a little diminished now," Hector smiled sheepishly. "What do you suppose Senthose is doing?"

"Hopefully not getting stabbed," Mortal said, "It was smart he went, if I did I would have gotten hit, and probably would have had some mind effect thing used on me."

A"She didn't really 'gild' it, but yeah, that was kind of weird. And creepy. To say the woman had a god complex is putting it mildly. She actually referred to herself as 'the Goddess of Hell' during the fight."

*She looks back at Hector.*

A"Searching the castle, like he said. It's a big place, from what we saw. Who knows how long it could take to search the whole thing?"

Jackie<Sure.>

*Jackie pours some vodka in a wine glass.*

Jackie<Do you want anything, Euryale?>

E"I'll just take a soda."

L"I would like some vodka. Uh, please."

Jackie<Why? You don't need to drink. Don't you think it's kind of rude to order things you don't need?>

*She gets a soda out of a mini fridge & puts it on the counter. Lilith frowns. Ginjo sighs.*

Ginjo<Hey, Jackie, why don't you take a break? I'll man the bar.>

"So that is why he didn't want Eduj to go with him," Hector said. "I might have taken Sab, though. If it turns out that the human is faster than him we'll all be in trouble."

"I'm sure he'll be fine," Mortal said.

Atae awkwardly stands next to Lilith.

"Thanks," Noct took a sip from her glass, then extended it out to Lilith, "Want mine, Lilith?"

"We will see," Hector leaned back in his chair.

*Ginjo trades places with Jackie.*

Ginjo<That's alright, I'll pour some for the lovely lady.>

L"Oh, you."

*Jackie goes over to lounge on the couch, looking pointedly away from ghosts.*

A"What I don't get is how he came to the conclusion that the human has mind altering powers."

Noct brought her glass back to her lips and downed the rest. She then looked at Ginjo, "So, who are you again? You're the only one here I'm unfamiliar with."

"I think it has something to do with no one reporting seeing him," Sab said.

"I don't know, but I've come to trust Senthose's judgements."

"I believe Sab is correct," Astarte added. "And if she is not, Senthose will doubtless explain it to us later."

A"Oh...oh! Because if he looked like he wasn't a Hollow, it means that he's fair game. So it's strange that no one attacked him."

S"Exactly correct."

*Senthose steps out of a Garganta.*

S"I believe that most of those witnesses DID attack him, lost, & had their memories modified as a result. But what's more troubling is that he didn't kill them. Do you know who reported seeing him?"

Daisy<I'm afraid I didn't take the time to commit that to memory.>

*Senthose stares at her, before turning to Astarte.*

S"I found no one."

Ginjo<Kugo Ginjo.>

*He pours a glass of vodka, which Lilith gladly accepts.*

Ginjo<You'll have to excuse Jackie. FullBring isn't always a happy gift.>

E"Well, whatever happened, it isn't Lilith's fault."

Ginjo<I don't mean to start an argument.>

L"It does trouble me that Hollows got away with so many attacks here. I'll see to it that there is a greater standing guard in the living world, from now on."

"Would you like me to conduct a search of the entire castle?" Astarte asked. "To be sure."

Mortal furrowed her brow, "How do you know that you didn't just fuck up like all the others?"

"The most recent attack among us is like 13 years ago," Noct said, pointing over her shoulder at Yukio, "I'm not sure what an increase in guards now is going to accomplish."

S"I don't. And no, that would be foolish. This is an enemy that will be difficult to corner, without knowing anything about his abilities."

E"I got attacked just yesterday."

"Come on, Euryale, the spouse's testimony isn't suppose to weaken the case," Noct said.

"Well, that is reassuring," Mortal said, leaning back in her chair and eating her taco.

"So what is the plan, my lord?" Hector spoke up once again.

E"I thought the spouse's testimony DID weaken the case, because of emotional bias."

S"What's more, the enemy doesn't leave behind Reitsu, so there is nothing to analyze. All I can do is sit back & wait for more eye witnesses to come in. Then I can interrogate them all I want."

"Well then, I think I will take my leave," Hector rose from his seat and motioned for Eduj to do the same. "It has been a most pleasant dinner, and I enjoyed meeting you, Sab and Aroma."
He then opened a Garganta and stepped through, closely followed by Eduj.

"Come, Eduj," Hector said as he closed the Garganta behind them. "We are going for a walk."
"Where to, master?"
"I am curious about this intruder," Hector said as he began walking down a hallway. "So, we are going to walk around until either we find him or I get bored."
"Of course, master," Eduj followed his master down the hall.

"Yea, so you taking the opposite stance only makes things worse," Noct said, "Remind me not to have you be a character witness for me."

Sab waved as Hector left and continued eating her taco, alternating which side she bit into with every bite so nothing fell out.

E"But who else will tell the court what a thoughtful, kind, loving, dedicated, funny, & intelligent person you are?"

*John snickers.*

"Lilith would be a great character witness," Noct said.

"But no one can see her if they're not spiritually aware."

"I'm not calling you as a character witness either."
