*Roatha turns to Taiyo, now a much more monstrous ghost with a mask like a skull. Curiosity winning over rage, the darkness on Roatha's costume begins to dissipate & the chest closes slightly.*

*It does not penetrate the aura of darkness. Simba jumps to the side as Scar charges them.*

Simba<Mom! Leave with Timon & Pumbaa!>

*So they do as he says & scramble away.*

*The Wisdom shot hits a rock as he is already in the Savannah. Thiera shoots a Blizzard blast at Shenzi, knocking herself free. Flapping, she escapes the pull of the magnet spell that Shenzi continues to orbit around.*

L"Let's go after him!"

*As she flies, Thiera glances at the cave to see that Pete has already vanished.*

T"...Nevermind."

Shenzi<Hey, you're not gettin' off that easy! Once I get out of this thing, you'll be sorry!>

Axel<I saw the parade when it was just coming through. The man leading it was casting spells when no one was looking. The lamp had recently gone missing from the cave.>

Jasmine<So that would mean that Prince Ali probably has it.>

Axel<Most likely, yes.>

Jasmine<I'd be glad to get it from him. It sounds like fun.>

Taiyo: "Roatha?"

*At this moment, the skinny guard runs up, drawing his sword.*

Guard<Don't play dumb! We caught another bandit lurking near the treasure room, dressed in that same coat!>

*Axel shrugs.*

Axel<So...where is he?>

Guard<He...well, he defeated the other guards. So I was sent to warn the Sultan & the Princess!>

*Jasmine covers her mouth.*

Jasmine<Are they okay?>

Guard<What? Well, just knocked out, I think.>

*That was a terrible idea, as Scar plows her to the ground & his phantom minions bite & claw at her. Simba jumps aside as Scar charges towards him, & runs to her. Scar makes a wide U-turn, coming back to them, but they can see that some of his dark minions have evaporated away.*

*Banzai is struck by a lioness. He falls towards another lioness, who hits him again. This goes on for several seconds until a lioness is distracted by a flaming branch falling nearby & Banzai is able to run into the Savannah. The lionesses crowd around Monu.*

Nala<We can't eat that one. He's a friend.>

<Well, we have to eat SOMETHING!>

Nala<We'll manage. For now, we need to get rid of Scar.>

*Meanwhile, Thiera flies down over the cliff, carrying Lilith.*

*Safian leaps out of Scar's path, pushing Simba out of the way as well. She then summons her keyblade and uses fire raid on Scar*

OOC: Be glad I'm nice, the game would make you wait until Scar was done running around.

*The fire, coupled with the mass of the Keyblade, is enough to penetrate Scar's dark shell & cut him. However, Safian falls to the ground, & Scar comes in for 1 last charge.*

Simba<I can heal you, but I need to get close!>

*Roatha's costume finally completely turns back into a sheet, with the mask chipping away to reveal the pumpkin mask underneath. His Keyblades vanish.*

R"Senthose must have brought him back with dark magic. But I don't know where he went."

E"Okay, glad that's cleared up. And now that you're back to normal, don't snap at her again. Your evil twin trying to possess you is one thing, but this time, you clearly chose to use that power. Don't act like it's our fault."

*Once on the ground, Lilith dumps healing pollen on Monu.*

Nala<What's going on up there?>

L"The darkness is collecting & causing a storm. It must be Scar. Once he's gone, we can use our Keyblades to fix this. But we should hurry. The nature of darkness is to spread."

Jasmine<So can you both get rid of him then?>

*Axel raises his hands in a defensive gesture.*

Axel<Uh...well, that's kinda awkward.>

Jasmine<Why? You just said that you weren't together.>

Axel<...I guess we did.>

*He scratches the back of his head, letting his other arm dangle.*

Taiyo: "We should see how Azuma's doing."

*That doesn't hurt him & slows her down more than if she'd just ran all out, so Scar plows right into her. Fortunately for her, Scar's darkness evaporates away, forcing him to land & not resume the attack. Meanwhile, Simba produces healing herbs from his mane & rubs them on Safian & all of the Keyblade Wielders emerge atop Pride Rock.*

Simba<Where is everyone?>

L"In the cave, blocking Scar's exit! Thiera, shield, everyone, try to group together!"

*So Thiera casts Aero on everyone & Lilith blasts at Scar with seeds.*

*Roatha is the first to head out. The door easily pushes open & Roatha strides past Azuma, Euryale lagging behind at the door.*

Locke<Hey, you jerk, we did what you wanted! Now where's our stuff?>

R"Other end of the bridge."

E"Hey! Where are you going? Aren't you going to apologize?"

R"Trying to pick up Senthose's scent. Thought not letting you get skewered or sawed would've sufficed."

Artexi:<This guy could blow out several walls. I think he's looking for the genie as well.>

*She summons her keyblade and uses Fire Raid again. Monu sends his diamonds at Scar*

Azuma: "And their dealings with that Facilier guy have been forgotten or am I the only one to witness their attacking me with a large Heartless?"

Hitomi fires Wisdom Shots at Scar.

*Roatha stops & turns around.*

R"Of course we didn't see that, we were inside the mansion. Who's Facilier?"

E"Oh yeah, a dark-skinned man with a skull on his face came & talked about offering us a deal. Next thing I knew, evil spirits were dragging me into a portal & I couldn't move."

R"...What was the deal?"

*Euryale folds her arms & looks up at the moon, pursing her lips.*

E"Um...something about...if I didn't do anything, he'd let me in to help you guys."

Simba<Be careful, it's not that strong!>

*Scar jumps about 8 feet to the left, crackling with electricity.*

L"He's fast! And coming this way!"

*Not expecting Reflect, he plows right into it. With a roar & a stomp, Simba raises pillars of rock to box Scar in. Lilith wraps her body around her Keyblade & dashes into Scar, leaving a trail of dust & an audible boom. Turning, she does it again while Simba rolls into a ball & does a spinning leap at Scar, but he only scratches Scar a few times before a rain of lightning bolts blows him back.*

Guard<Genie?>

Jasmine<Nevermind. I'll lead Ali into the courtyard. This bandit should follow us, & then you can take care of the rest.>

Axel<You got it.>

*He points at her.*

Azuma: "After that he conjured up some Heartless, pointing out the lack of Tentaclaws around here and took off. Then these three came about with a large Heartless and attacked."

*Safian uses Fire Raid again, then flames cover her body as she leaps at Scar, clawing at him. Monu uses Wind Raid on Scar*

*Covered in wounds, Scar tries to stumble away. Simba follows him, stalking.*

Scar<What are you going to do? You wouldn't kill your own Uncle...?>

Simba<No, Scar. I'm not like you. Run. Run away, Scar. And never return.>

Scar<...Yes. Of course. As you wish...your Majesty!>

*Generating fire on his paws, he flings it on Simba's eyes & jumps on him, clawing at him.*

Scar<You will all bow to me! Oh, I'll run, all right! I'll take what's left of the hyenas, find more minions, turn them all into Heartless, & then you'll all bow to me!>

*He bites Simba's neck, & Simba yowls.*

*Looking confused, the guard points down the hall, before taking off with the Princess. Axel sets off.*

R"...I smell Senthose around here. His scent must have been on Facilier. He must have been the one who revived Oogie Boogie.... Come to think of it, his smell may even be on the Heartless. Senthose might never have even been here."

*Roatha stares at the ground.*

*Safian claws at Scar's back with fire wreathed claws, trying to make him drop Simba, while Monu heals Simba*

Azuma: "We may never know. This one ain't talking and I bet the others won't either. Of course I'm no interogator or torture technician."

Hitomi fires Wisdom Shots at Scar.

*Scar falls down Pride Rock. He pulls himself up & tries to limp away when he sees the hyena trio come from around the flames.*

Scar<Oh, my dear friends!>

Shenzi<Friends? I thought you were gonna turn what's left of us into Heartless.>

Banzai<That's what I heard, Shenzi.>

Both<Ed?>

*Ed lowers his ears & licks his lips.*

Ed<Heheheh...heheh...heeeeh....>

Scar<No, you don't understand--! Let me explain--! I didn't mean--!>

*The other hyenas join in the laughter & jump on Scar. He reaches up, trying to grab a foot hold that doesn't exist. They pull him to the ground & bite into him as the flames build around them. Thiera flies to the cliff, but Lilith holds her tail in the way.*

T"We can't let them--"

L"We can't meddle in world affairs that aren't part of our mission. He brought this on himself."

*They eventually reach a pile of unconscious guards. Nero stands with a foot on Razoul, raising his Keyblade.*

N"I am become Death, Destroyer of Worlds!"

R"Oogie didn't even know who Senthose was. I doubt they know anything."

Locke<Yeah, see? It's not our fault! So let me go, stupid! Ugly!>

Azuma: "They do know Facilier who could be one of Senthose's stooges. Unless someone else is making a mess of things."

*Artexi summons her keyblade and waves it around*

*Safian looks over the edge of the cliffs and grimaces*

<I suppose he did deserve it.>

T"That wasn't right...we shouldn't have let that happen...Mom wouldn't--"

L"Thiera, do you really think that Mom's never killed anyone?"

T"She wouldn't!"

L"It's in the job description. Eradicate the forces of darkness. Which we have to do now."

*She points her Keyblade up at the cloud of darkness, which is spreading across the sky & blasting purple & red lightning across the Savannah.*

N"You get lost! I thought you were after Jafar, anyway. I'm not bothering you."

Axel<Well, the Genie isn't here, anyway. Prince Ali is in the court yard.>

N"Then that's where I'll be!"

*He runs back down the hall.*

Axel<Come to think of it, Jafar will probably be there, too.>

Azuma: "People who can conjure Heartless up all willy nilly don't just appear out of thin air."

He drops Lock, very harsh like.

Taiyo: "I'm sure something will come up."

Taiyo takes Euryale's hand and prepares to leave.
