Episode Three: Beneath the Deep

E"Mhm."

R"You 2, go find Aroma."

*They run off.*

R"Like free labor, they are."

*Eve looks out into the water, looking for any fish*

Salamon: "What is this water? Run off from Factorial Town?"

Azuma: "I don't know. Maybe. Whatever that is."

Azuma lifts the coconut half to his mouth, taking a sip, grimacing.

Azuma: "Should've drank sea water instead of that stream water."

Taiyo: "We should probably go meet up with the others."

Eve:<It'd be hard to boil it out here.>

R"He did say that it tastes bad."

E"Uh-huh."

Having eaten what they can bother to eat, the two message Taiyo and Aroma, asking if they're awake.

Azuma: "Well, it certainly does taste bad."

Taiyo begins getting dressed, going back to wearing shorts and this time a blue cropped tank top with paw prints dotting the front when her D-Terminal goes off.

"Ah! Geeze, what!?"

*Euryale opens her eyes & jumps up onto her hands & knees when the D-Terminal goes off.*

*The Digimon come back with Aroma, who holds Lalamon in 1 arm, & rubs her eyes with her other hand.*

A"Whattayaneed?"

R"Sunflower. Face lasers. Dead fish. Can you do it?"

A"Mmm...I dunno?"

*Everyone waits to see what happens*

Azuma: "This is getting us nowhere."

Taiyo can't help but laugh at Euryale's reaction.

Taiyo: "I got a message. Hitomi asked if we're awake."

"Oh. I was totally awake."

*She stands up & brushes her arms & legs because she likely moved around in her sleep & got sand all over the goddamn place.*

*And so Sunflowmon scouts for fish in the shallows.*

<SUNSHINE BEAM!>

*They keep waiting*

A lightning bolt streaks across the sky, striking Sunflowmon. MegaSeadramon emerges from the sea and roars.

Patamon and Salamon both Digivolve.

Taiyo is about to send a reaponse back when they see the lightning bolt streak across the sky and MegaSeadramon emerge from the water all big, red, and hard to miss like most sea serpents.

*As soon as she recovers, Sunflowmon takes aim at MegaSeadramon.*

<SUUUUUNSHIIIIIIIINE BEEEEEEAAAAAAM!>

*The others Digivolve, attacking.*

*Lunamon, Biyomon, and Terriermon all digivolve, Gargomon firing with Gargo Blaster, Lekismon with tear Arrow, and Saberdramon with Black Saber*

For the most part, MegaSeadramon is too far out for the majority of the attacks from the shorebound to reach it. It opens its mouth and exhales a flurry of icicles towards the shore.

Hitomi opens up her D-Terminal, selecting the Digimental of Light. Gatomon falls to all fours and grows, pieces of the Digimental attaching to her.

???: "Smiling Light, Nefertimon!"

Hitomi climbs aboard Nefertimon's back who takes flight, attacking with Nile Jewelery.

Taiyo and presumably Euryale come on to the scene, the ground shakes as a [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] digs itself out of the sand.

Kyubimon leaps into action, attacking Scorpiomon with Dragon Wheel.

*Growlmon douses it in fire from the other direction, like a bitch. Dorugamon fires a sphere ahead of them to block some of the ice spikes. Sunflowmon attacks the base of the serpent from the blind spot created by it with SUNSHINE BEAM!*

OOC: What happened to "Angel of Light"?

*Everyone gets far away from the ice spikes, then Saberdramon flies forward, joins Nefertimon, and uses Night Roar. lekismon jumps up and fires Tear Arrow at MegaSeadramon's eyes, while Gargomon fires at his face*

OOC: I went with the first title I could recall right away.

Gargomon's attacks mainly deflect off of MegaSeadramon's carapace and otherwise ignores it going after the Digimon that are up in its grill like Saberdramon which it snaps its jaws at.

It raises its tail and swings at the other Digimon.

Scorpiomon spins around, its bladed tail swinging at Euryale & Taiyo before charging at the fox and Demon Dragon.

*Saberdramon darts away, then Night Roars again. Gargomon and Lekismon jump over the tail, then fire at the eyes again*

*Euryale grabs Taiyo & ducks, moving in front of her.*

"Run!"

*Meanwhile, Gargomon tries to grapple with Scorpiomon & Dorugamon continues to assault MegaSeadramon.*

Taiyo does just that. Kyubimon not having arms or anything of the sort can only back away from Scorpiomon then attack with a salvo of fireballs.

Scorpiomon rears up, giving Growlmon a good look at the gun ports on its underside and open fires.

MegaSeadramon dives, a dark shape in the water, smaller than MegaSeadramon moves towards them. A gob of black stuff hits Angemon who begins to fall as the Marine Devil, MarineDevimon makes its appearance.

*Growlmon more-or-less follows suit with Kyubimon. Meanwhile, Dorugamon & Sunflowmon turn their attention (& attacks) to Marine Devimon's face.*

*Everyone starts attacking MarineDevimon's face*

MarineDevimon dives down, MegaSeadramon taking its place, unleashing a flurry of icicles at the crowd.

Angemon hits the water, immobilized by MarineDevimon's poison and reverts back to Patamon.

Azuma: "Damn it, damn it, damn it."

Azuma wades into the water to grab Patamon.

Patamon: "That stuff is pretty potent."

MarineDevimon's tentacles emerge from the ocean.

Nefertimon flies high hammering MegaSeadramon with Rosetta Stone which seems to irritate it in a way that can only come from taking a stone tablet to the nose.

Scorpiomon burrows into the ground and vanishes, covering the hole it dug in the process.

*Saberdramon dives at MegaSeadramon' face, clawing with Black Saber. Gargomon and Lekismon start firing at MegaSeadramon*
