Episode Two: The Point of Absolute Zero

A"Umm...yes, I'm okay...."

*She takes his hand, pulling herself up. Lalamon begins dusting the snow off of her. Meanwhile Roatha flips off the ocean.*

"That's good."

*She keeps watching the signals.*

Patamon: "That just means trouble for us."

Azuma: "So, uh what's up?"

Azuma continues on his way, assuming Aroma follows.

The signals move closer, at a crawl.

Taiyo covers his stomach with her arms, hoping to supress its growling.

Taiyo: "Grrr."

*Eve puts some of the chucks of fish on the sticks then rests them in the fire. Terriermon wanders over to Roatha*

Terriermon:<Hi.>

"Yeah let's hope we never run into that."

"Yes, Hon, you're terrifying."

"Wha--Oh! The seaweed!"

*She jogs after.*

"It's just...why are you heating it?"

*Roatha looks down.*

"Hey?"

Azuma: "Dry it out mostly. Salt water being fairly dangerous to consume in large quantities and all."

They see Renamon standing out a phonebooth, staring out at the ocean.

Taiyo leans on Euryale's shoulder.

Taiyo: "Any idea where we might be going next? I'd really like somewhere sunny. Have a nice nap in the sun."

*Terriermon crosses his arms and shrugs*

<Just thought I'd say hello.>

*Eve sits down by the fire and stares into it. Lunamon takes a piece of seaweed*

E"So would I, but I'm not really sure. I don't even know what to expect from this place."

A"Oh, good point. Um...what are you looking at, Ms. Fox?"

R"...Okay."

*Roatha goes over to take some seaweed & sniff at it.*

"This crab is good."

It smells like cooked seaweed. Which may not be pleasant.

Renamon: "The ocean."

Azuma: "Likely heard the commotion as well."

Outside the phonebooth with its steamed up windows, Azuma knocks on the door.

Taiyo: "Snow. Cold. Monsters."

There is a knock on the door.

*Aroma stands with Renamon.*

"Oh...d'you see anything?"

"Not really what I meant."

*She opens the door.*

*He takes a bite.*

"Ych!"

*Then he passes it to Dorumong, who greedily slurps it off of the stick.*

"How many of those telephone booths were there anyway?" Hibiki asks suddenly, the realization that they all might not get their own finally dawning on him.

Roatha & Eve remembers there was five, assuming they bother to answer.

Renamon: "Lightning."

Azuma: "Howdy. Figured we should share our scant amount of scavagings."

Eve:<Five.>

*Eve tries some seaweed, and manages to gulp it down. Terriermon tries some crab, while Cameron warms his hands over the fire*

"It... occurs to me that if we're going to use those phone booths as shelter for the night we're probably going to have share and partner up to bunk for the night."

Cameron:<Kylie and I will bunk together.>

Terriermon:<Roatha, wanna bunk with us?>

Patamon: "Ooo, Roatha and Eve, sitting in a phonebooth, K-I-S-S-I-N-ow!"

Salamon bites Patamon.

Salamon: "Thought you'd be more appetizing than the seaweed."

*Eve and Terriermon turn around and stare at Patamon. Terriermon looks like he's going to start something before Eve grabs him*

Eve:<(It's not worth it.)>

*Roatha scratches the back of his head.*

"If it's too much trouble...."

"Oh, cool, is that crab?"

It is getting darker as the sun sets and the temperature drops. BlackAgumon begins feeling worse.

Patamon: "Better decide quick."

Azuma: "It sure is. And lightly roasted seaweed which I hear has all kinds of nutrients."

Taiyo doesn't look too keen about the idea of eating seaweed.

Taiyo: "Where'd you hear that?"

Azuma: "Our resident ocean botanist here."

He motions to Aroma likely making her feel very uncomfortable.

Eve:<It's no trouble at all.>

BlkAgumon really starts to drag and Hibiki sighs, "So who else is bunking up?"

*Aroma is still standing with Renamon, otherwise, she'd be indignant.*

"Is she really an ocean botanist, or are you just being sarcastic?"

"Well...alright, then."

*He rips off a crab's leg.*

Azuma: "Being sarcastic. Vegetarian, actually. And I certainly didn't know seaweed had all kinds of viatims and what not."

E"Oh, that does explain it. Ugh, she's not one of those preachy vegan types, is she?"

*She pointedly takes the crab.*
