FFT is in like its 5th topic. Besides, he appears to be saying that Lilith being a Dancer-Samurai is a rehash, which is odd, considering he hasn't mentioned adding or deleting any plot arcs to this abortion he's trying to resuscitate.

I said I'd do away with the more contrived elements putting more emphasis on the cast not being yobs (asking alot) so as to not up and starve within the first three pages.

This is on top of other additional changes that of course you won't believe'll be present as the only way you'd stop seeing what you want to see is if I were share my notes which you'll likely doubt the existance of.

Of course this could all be remedied if you knew what a remake is. It's not a reboot.

That has nothing to do with his statement. He is basically saying that what you're doing, whether remake, or reboot, is too similar to what you did before, which he did not like.

It's a remake. A remake is similar to the original work because it is the original work with corrections, expansions, alternations, or whatever.

If it was something entirely different it wouldn't be a remake.

Yes, thank God, someone has some basic reading comprehension.

No one's saying you can't make a whatever the fuck you want to call it, but you can't expect to get people to join just by saying what you want to hear.

That is all fine and good, and, personally, I could not care less. I'm just pointing out that it is because of those reasons that some may not want to join. If they didn't like the original, why join the new one that is very similar to the old one?

I actually did enjoy the original, & would not mind doing some of it over, but I don't want to literally rehash my old shit, only somehow make it "better."

Of course, until I free up some time that I can actually join some shit at all, this is all rather moot.

I guess it is good to point out that most remakes and reboots recast their actors, lol.
