Digimon: Data Distortion

Story: In the Digital World a dying Kimeramon stumbled across a mortally wounded Machinedramon. In an attempt to spare their lives the two attempted to DNA Digivolve and Milleniummon was born. Milleniummon's power was so great he warped and disfigured the Digital World.

Meanwhile in the Human World, electronic devices have the tendency to act abnormally or not work at all. As electronic devices malfunction strange monsters appear seemingly out of nowhere carrying a strange device of varying color.

In other cases they appear on a computer as an egg that when hatches shows nothing but a blob that eats whatever is on the computer until materializing in the human world.

The strange monsters call themselves Digital Monsters or Digimon for short saying that they've come to the Human World looking for help to free their home from Milleniummon.

Multiple characters are allowed and encouraged, but their Digimon cannot be compatible for DNA Digivolution.

IE no one person can have Veemon and Wormmon.


Digivolving:

With the exception of In-Training to rookie which is permanent all other digivolutions last as long as the battle lasts.

Digivolving works based on what level of Digimon is being fought at the moment.

Example: Andrmon (Ultimate) is being fought, so the Digimon can go to their ultimate level providing they're in their champion level and the character has their Crest Mark.

When a Digi-Egg is acquired Digivolution works relativly the same way except there's no going into ultimate or mega.

To digivolve into mega the player must shout Biomerge Digivolution or simply Biomerge.

DNA Digivolution requires being able to cooperate with other players because for the time being two players are sharing a Digimon.

In layman's terms, if two Digimon are capable of DNA Digivolution (IE ExVeemon and Stingmon) the two players have to share the Digimon for a period of time (until the fight is over or if they're forced to revert back to their rookie stage).

So take turns when making actions or something.

New addition: Attributes. Each (or most) digimon has an attribute either Virus, Data, or Vaccine. What that means is some battles will be easier than others.

It works similar to rock, paper, scissors (it doesn't really) with Data being stronger than Vaccine, Vaccine being stronger than Virus, and Virus being stronger than Data.

Virus - Guilmon, Wormmon, Devimon, BlackAgumon
Vaccine - Salamon, Angemon, Leomon
Data - Veemon, Gotsumon, Meramon

Name: Hitomi Alla
Age: 18
Personality: Emotionless Girl
Appearance: Stands at 5"4' with blond hair that reaches the middle of her back while the bangs reach just below her eyebrows, the Crest of Light on the back of her neck. Green eyes behind gold, wire frame glasses. Wears a gawdy pink, flower print dress, dark blue calf high socks, and black cotton (bottom one) Mary Jane's.
Partner Digimon: Salamon
Bio: A Japanese girl (by anime standards!) who spends most of her time at either the library or book stores. Due to her strange tendencies to not try to associate with anyone she rarely if ever associates with others. While crossing the street, the traffic light began flickering and through rift fell out Nyaromon with a "Nya!".

Standing in the middle of the street staring at each other, Hitomi eventually kept walking with Nyaromon following. While Nyaromon does her own thing, Hitomi thinks of it as a mutant cat.
Other: Socks and shoes carry a not so faint smell of sewage.

Name: Taiyo Shikasu
Age: 16
Personality: Ditzy, free-spirited, flirty
Appearance: Long brunette hair that reaches the middle of her back while the bangs reach her eyes, but are usually brushed aside. Brown eyes, black, studded leather collar around her neck, black t-shirt with the word SEXY bedazzled on the front with the left sleeve torn off and a large section of the bottom torn off exposing her stomach overtop a pink tiger print bra, light blue denim capris, and pink ballet slippers, Crest of Love on her navel
Partner Digimon: BlackGabumon
Bio: A Japanese-American girl (by anime standards!) from New York. While vacationing in France, she was going through security clearance, the machines began going haywire when out of a rift that appeared in front of her came Tsunomon. During the initial stare at each other looking stupid, airport security began chasing the Tsunomon thinking it was a breach of security.

When it turned and ran (hopped) away, with Taiyo chasing it her and her family were forced to stay in the country longer due Taiyo's apparant contact with the weird creature and how it just appeared out of nowhere.
Other: I don't like this bio at all.

Name: Tsune Aqua
Age: 17
Personality: See bio.
Appearance: Wavy, blond hair that goes to the small of her back. Cyan eyes. Wears jeans & a t-shirt, the latter of which is designed to look like wavy water & is slightly low cut. Also wears a dark coat that goes down to her ankles, which she has partially buttoned between her naval & her chest. The coat also leaves her arms bare. Only upon close inspection does one realize that it's a very dark blue. Apparently, she now has the Crest of Friendship on her back.
Partner Digimon: Tokomon
Bio: Awkward as a little girl, Tsune was frequently mocked, somewhat owing to her fanatical interest with oceanography & marine biology. This led to her developing somewhat cynical & anti-social tendencies. Those few she does open up to see a lighter personality, although this is still behind a bit of timidity.

On her 15th birthday, she was informed that the family had to move from Maryland to Pennsylvania. She was understandably distraught about this, because Pennsylvania replaces oceans with cow shit, until being attacked by a shark, because, fuck yeah, sharks. That's when Tokomon appeared, distracting the shark long enough for her to get away. Tsune agreed to help Tokomon & bought her now trademark coat to help hide it. After the move, both she & Tokomon spent a lot of time near large bodies of water, waiting for the time to come when they could do something about Milleniummon.
Other: She's back! And even more creative than ever! And I apparently do not know the meaning of the word "trademark."

Name: Euryale Rakshashi
Age: 19
Personality: Euryale could easily be "one of the guys." She's very comfortable & easy to talk to about most things. She can tolerate a lot & typically doesn't hold a grudge. However, she can be quite fierce in a fight.
Appearance: Yellow eyes, dark skin, relatively tall, with straight, reddish-brown hair that reaches down to her shoulders, & humongous breasts. I think that about covers it. Wears a black turtleneck & jeans. Under that, she wears a two-piece red bathing suit, & now apparently has the Crest of Courage over her heart.

Bio: A one-woman cultural melting pot. Primarily Egyptian, but her family has roots in Greece, Europe, & even Japan as well. Her family emphasizes keeping with traditions, so she practices a form of neo paganism & knows many languages--although I do not, so hopefully that will be the last time this plot point comes up. When she was about 7, her family moved to England, necessitating her to be fluent in English.

Two years ago, she met Koromon at a visit to Stonehenge. Despite Koromon's explanations of the Digital World, she believes this to be a spiritual experience. She practiced martial arts, particularly capoirea, both as a form of meditation & self-defense, before she met Koromon & wishes he had limbs, so that she could teach him. She now spends her days with Koromon, bumming around London, doing odd jobs in search of a career path.
Other: Her family has what appears to be a suit of armor from the time of Julius Caesar, but upon getting it examined, they found that it was actually made with modern materials. Upon Euryale's request, it was given to her. Although it primarily serves as a decoration, Euryale had it modified to fit her. It features a bronze chestplate that mimics the anatomic lines of the human chest & torso, a miniskirt of sorts containing plates of bronze, & bronze forearm & ankle guards.

Name: Taegan Harvey
Age: 16
Personality: Shy at times, but usually random and energetic, he's been becoming a bit more serious due to certain influences.
Appearance: Medium height, thin, blond hair, blueish grey eyes. He wears a blue jacket over a white T-shirt, jeans and white sneakers with a wing-like symbol on them. He carries a bag around his waist with cookies, bandages, and he's lucky amulet: A miniature airplane toy.

Bio: Tae was born and lives in Portugal, with his australian parents and older sister. (18 years ago, his dad, a pilot, had to move to Europe with his wife and 1 year old daughter on work. They lived in France for a while but Mr.Harvey ended up getting severely injured and retiring. They decided to stay and found a more peaceful country to the west, Portugal, where their second child would eventually be born.)
Tae inherited his dad's passion for flying, and even though he is still too young for the actual thing, he loves anything and everything that has to do with it. This includes flying Digimon, especially the ones he can ride.
Tae met his partner, Poromon, upon finding her being attacked by another tamer's champion-level Greymon at the local park. Thinking it was some kind of bird, the boy ran to her and swept her away from Greymon's flames just in time to save her from certain deletion. He took Poromon home in secret and has been keeping her in his room, taking care of her ever since.

Name: Allina Daelph
Age: 16
Personality: Allina is usually said to have a big mouth, and tends to rush into things. However, she's still very friendly and kind.

Bio: Allina was born in Maryland, Australia. She was born and raised there but she has travelled to many different countries and currently lives in Tokyo, Japan with her parents. She loves kendo and has actually won a couple of junior tournaments. Her family is wealthy and they own a big house. She met Tokomon whe she found him hiding in a trash bin in her street, after he had fled from a group of dogs. Her partner's personality is somewhat similar to hers, though he seems to be a bit calmer when the situation requires so.

Name: Razz D.
Age: 16
Personality: Despite having a kind heart, he is usually very arrogant to strangers and doesn't believe there's anyone that can beat him and Veemon.

Bio: Born in New York, he used to live with his parents and his cat until one day he found a strange blue creature. They were attacked by a BlackGatomon that came out of a strange rift and the creature transformed during the fight, fighting alongside Razz. They won and entered the rift, ending up in the Digital World. They've been travelling around for over a month now, and are currently at the Server Continent, trying to find Millenniummon's minons.

Personality: Loyal, strong-willed. Courageous, he is a tactical fighter that fears no opponent.

He struggles with his school work, often spending his time researching the strange internet phenomenons known as Digital Monsters. Personality: Usually calm and appears to be a normal person. However, this is all a facade for the secret fact that he lusts for power.

Bio:
Currently residing in New York, Nate Emerald works part-time as a computer technician, although he doesn't like it. He's always secretly had dreams of conquering the world to change things for better or worse, and is annoyed at how he doesn't seem to be improving in that goal. He's recently been told rumors by his friends about strange monster sightings in the area, but he ignores the people who tell him that, considering them to be insane.

Age: 17
Personality: A dignified, humble young man with good morals and a good heart. He's always trying to find the good in people and do good to them in turn, though he's crushed when he's lied to.

Partner Digimon: Gigimon
Bio: Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, by his French father and German mother. He lived a very isolated life with a fixed routine: wake up, go to school, go home, do homework, go to bed. That was his "everyday" until he found a Digi-Egg outside the building the local ISP was based in. He took it home thinking it was a big rock, but was in for a shock when it hatched into Gigimon and a Digivice materialized on his bed. He tried to ignore Gigimon at first. However, he was unable to do wrong to an innocent being with his conscience telling him what to do, so he raised it from his family's home until his parents found out. Unable to talk his way out of the issue, he admitted that Gigimon was a Digimon and that he would raise it like his own pet. Reluctantly agreeing to this, his parents stayed out of the issue. The two train everyday, hoping for something interesting to occur.
Other: He can speak a bit of French and German.

Other than Gigimon digivolving to Guilmon (digivolution from in-training to rookie occurs in-game) everything's good.

So this is dead and it's all Teagan's fault.

As he's dead this cannot be concluded which is horribly as I had notes for it up to the conclusion and even into the sequel up to its conclusion.

Now I refuse to let that go to waste. Meaning my only hope would be a reboot.

The problem with that is a great deal of notes concerning characterization of character specific plot points do go to waste.

But it allows for others things. Like improving on bits that didn't go as well as they could or should have and doing things more arc based mainly for orgination purposes as trying to reference a past event is a nightmare when there are six bloody threads for one RP. Worse for this RP as it started on another damn forum.

But presently there is already a Digimon RP. While this was more Adventure based, it may still conflict with the other. Unrealisticly thinking it could allow for cross-over nonsense given Digimon being a multiverse.

Don't know who can all see the the Storage section, so I could just be prattling on about nothing.

I don't think it'll conflict with BDM that much, if at all, but I'm in if you decide to do a reboot.

That is assuring. Now I need a time to do it and a bit more backing.
