Episode Eleven: War

Lunamon:<I can do the same as Lekismon. Together we should be able to take them all up.>

Azuma: "Sounds like rushing into a meat grinder. There are probably other Commandramon along the rooftops and flying was advised against."

E"Alright, then, Smart Guy, what do you suggest?"

*No one gets involved in that shit*

Azuma: "Two groups--"

He holds up two fingers for emphasis and because my faith in the lot of these people is fading.

Azuma: "Euryale, Taiyo, myself, and Hitomi enter the streets through the alley opposite of where Renamon scouted ahead. Draw the attention of the Commandramon on the rooftops while the second group crosses into the street opposite of our position and make their way to the roof to incapacitate, convert, whatever the Commandramon there.

Commandramon in tow, find cover in one of the buildings along the alley. The first group'll catch up assuming this goes off fast enough."

OOC: Just because we blatantly have to go with Azuma's plan, that doesn't mean I can't point out all of its holes.

E"That doesn't make any sense, aren't we trying to AVOID detection? And aren't we more likely to make more noise trying to climb to the roof instead of just flying?"

R"Plus, that thing Aroma said about putting them to sleep sounds like it solves a lot of problems."

Terriermon:<Plus, won't they be able to raise the alarm between the time they see you and we get there?>

OOC: Ignoring that Aroma said it isn't guaranteed to work on machines.

Azuma: "Hard to sneak around with a mob of almost twenty bodies, moving all at once. And we were explicitly told to avoid flying by someone who's likely to have a good reason why it's a good idea to listen to them."

The plan was doomed from the get go regardless of who made it when a Tankmon comes rolling down the alley as on top of positioning soldiers on the roofs, they started sweeping the alleys!

Terriermon:<(Oh shit! We better move!)>

E"Looks like subtlety is no longer an option!"

*Euryale promptly Biomerges & starts chargin' up an Elysium Blaster as Dorumon scampers back to the safety of the shield, tripping over his own feet & falling on his face.*

A"Wait! We need to see if we can fix him!"

*Aroma holds up her Digivice with the hand she's not using to hold Lalamon.*

Everyone who isn't behind Gallantmon promptly gets behind them as the Tankmon open fires on them, drawing even more attention than the Biomerging.

A bright light pours out from Aroma's Digivice and a Black Gear is purged from the Tankmon, but it doesn't stop shooting.

On the rooftops, Commandramon move about to get the Chosen Children in sight, Taiyo Biomerging and conjuring up a shield around the group as bullets rain down on them.

*Kylie biomerges, Biyomon and Terriermon digivolve to ultimate.
Rapidmon atrempts to blow the digimon off the roof by targeting slightly blow them, while Cameron and Eve point their digivices at the still standing Commandromon*

Dianamon:<Why are you still attacking us?>

*Roatha gets behind Sakuyamon, because she can take a hit better than he can should that shield go down.*

R"Uh, thanks."

<"No time to ask them all for their life stories!">

*She fires a lightning joust at its tank tread. Aroma flinches from all of the explosions.*

A"Sh--should we Biomerge too?"

Good thing Sakuyamon is on the ball as Rapidmon decided to bring the house down on them, debris and Commandramon falling on them.

The Tankmon's tread explodes and it spins out, crashing and going out in a blaze of glory.

Following a mechanical roar comes cracks of thunder and the earth shaking beneath them, an artillery division bombards the neighborhood.

R"...That was kinda badass."

<"I was going with a warning shot, but okay....">

*Aroma tries to fix the Commandramon.*

*The humans try to release the Commandromon while the digimon do their best to protect them*

Their bodies mangled and broken from falling off the roof and on to Sakuyamon's shield, they're more likely to just howl in pain as they die even with the Black Gears purged from them.

Patamon Digivolve to Ultimate and MagnaAngemon heals them, to cleanse the Chosen Children or Eve at least of their guilt (but not really).

Two of the Commandramon look like they have no idea what is going on while the third growls and raises its gun at them all while the neighborhood is being reduced to rubble.

*Dorumon blasts the one attacking them.*

<"This isn't going according to plan. Should we stick around to explain to them what's going on, or just keep going?">

Dianamon:<Please, we are not your enemy!>

*She holds out her arms to the non-attacking Commandromon*

The Commandramon dies valiantly. When the other two come to their senses, the first thing that comes to mind is panic as they're being stared down by a million billion Digimon who are trying to say something, but the artillery fire makes hearing difficult.

*Dianamon bends down to their eye level*

<Don't worry, we're friends.>

<"We can't stay here & protect them forever!">

A"But we can't just leave them!"

R"We might have to split up."

A section of alley is buried in rubble from a collapsing building while a squad of Commandramon led by a Sealdramon none of which have any sense of self-preservation apparently run down the other end, guns trained on the group.

Sealsdramon: "Fire at will!"

In Machinedramon's secret underground base, it and Giromon & Tekkamon watch the destruction of a neighborhood.

Machinedramon: "Begin preperations for Protocol Ten."

Giromon: "Affirmative."

*Rapidmon sends his homing missiles at the charging assholes*

<"Let's just get out of here for now!">

*Roatha & Aroma try lifting the Commandramon.*
