Episode Eleven: War

*I don't know why Taiyo is relieved, because they planned for a situation like that, but either way, interest is lost in his meandering speech & they look around.*

R"Does knowing any of that actually help us in any way, & if so, why didn't you just say that part first?"

A"Wait...does that mean the Digimon here aren't evil?"

*Aroma starts to tear up & that's where I'll stop this post because I'm lazy.*

*Kylie looks sick at the mention of LadyDevimon and is atopped from falling over by Cameron*

There is nothing to see except a few crates, bare concrete walls, a door that presumably leads into the front part of the building and the door they came in.

Taiyo: "There's always good Digimon somewhere."

Igamon: "The Tankmon are mercenaries. They go wherever there is conflict, siding with the stronger force. The Mekanorimon have no will of their own except for that of the pilots or in this case who they're programmed by.

The Digimon controlled by the Black Gears can go either way."

Azuma: "How can we get to Factorial Town?"

Igamon: "It's underground, the entrance being in sector three which is always guarded by heavy patrols."

*Aroma steps up.*

A"How do we remove the black gears?!"

Cameron:<We could remove them all and start a major up rising.>

Igamon shrugs.

Igamon: "No one has ever tried. We try to avoid direct combat as much as possible."

Hitomi: "The Digivice can do it."

Taiyo: "How?"

Hitomi: "It can be used to convert an evil Digimon to good."

Azuma: "No one has tried that and if it could get rid of the Black Gears, we're taking a gamble that the Digimon wasn't hostile regardless."

E"I actually side with Aroma on this one. It is dishonorable to mow down Digimon without even knowing whether or not they're our enemies when we have another option. If they are, we can always destroy them THEN."

Kylie:<I agree! We can't hurt digimon who are being forced to attack us!>

Azuma: "Is that all?"

Igamon shrugs.

E"I suppose we could offer the freed Digimon a chance to join the resistance, but to be honest, we need to do away with Machinedramon as quickly as possible. There's at least 1 more where he came from, plus Millenniummon."

Lunamon:<But what if we called up everyone we've helped and formed a big army of our own!>

Azuma: "We have no way of communicating with them."

Igamon: "Do what you need to do."

E"We should organize some kind of raid. Defeat a few smaller forces to test our plan before we take on something big."

Lunamon:<We could find a way!>

Igamon: "Patrols in all sectors other than three are weakest at night. Although if you made contact with the enemy and they failed to apprehend you, that may change."

Azuma: "Change how? Same numbers day and night or....?"

Igamon shrugs.

Igamon: "We have no way of knowing how Machinedramon will compensate for that failure."

Eve:<So we move quietly at night.>

E"Then we should be quick & efficient about it. Convert the patrols & have them direct us to Machinedramon while the resistance plays back-up."

Azuma: "It's already night."

Igamon does not point out that they are getting ahead of themselves about something that is not guaranteed to work.

OOC: They have to do something & I don't know what else you want from me.

E"Then it might be a good idea to move now. Or maybe to rest up & wait for the next night. It's difficult to say, we'll be in a better condition to fight, but the longer we stay here, the more danger we're in."

Cameron:<Maybe we should get away and then rest. They're probably searching for us in this area.>

Igamon: "Their searches will be much more broad in the last sector you were spotted in."

Azuma: "Well, we don't know what parts of the city make up each sector."

Igamon: "The main entrance to the city from the arch is Sector One. This is Sector Two. Three blocks to the north or west will take you into Sector Three. South and west will take you back to Sector One. If you wish to hide out here, then this room will not be safe."

Azuma: "What do you reccomend, we hide out in the basement?"

Igamon: "Yes."

Lunamon:<Let's go then.>

E"I don't really feel comfortable with that, but I guess we have no choice."

A"I'd offer to prepare the food, but I've never made dehydrated food before. Can it be cooked, or seasoned?"

Igamon goes over to a crate and pushes it out of the way showing a plain-ass section of floor. Using its sword, it wedges open a trap door, a staircasr going down.

Igamon: "Add water and wait for it to rehydrate whatever it is. Spices are a commodity unavailable in this part of the world presently."

Igamon heads down the stairs.

A"But I want to make sure whatever it is is good for my friends...isn't there a kitchen around here somewhere?"

G<Don't worry, I can help you cook the food!>

L<And I might be able to come up with some kind of seasoning. Sunflower seeds, for instance.>
