*At some point, the day of the festival rolls around. That's when a maid bursts into the room as Mortal, Euryale, & Noctis are eating breakfast.*

<He's gone!>

*There is a knock on Taiyo's door.*

<Excuse me. It's me, Aroma.>

*Someone knocks on Cassandra's & Safian's door & announce that Cassandra's parents have arrived.*

Taiyo rolls over, falling out of bed. The thud wakes the others up as well.

Azuma: "I think it's for you, Taiyo."

Taiyo gets up and answers the door, her hair and pseudo-nightwear a tad messed up.

Taiyo: "Hi."

"Who is gone?" Noct asked.

Zac is presumably up and eating breakfast.

*Cassandra groans*

<Thank you.>

*She wakes Safian up*

<They found us.>

Safian:<Of course they did.>

*The pair get dressed, then head out to where Cassandra's parents are staying*

*She bows.*

<Beg pardons, Madam. I was bade to inform you by the clinic that a 'Roatha' has disappeared from it.>

*Lilith descends to join him, still not dressed for this thing today.*

*Aroma is wearing a black, sleeveless dress that is sleeveless & exposes the top of her sternum & back, but is otherwise nondescript. It is silk. In addition, she also has a pair of golden bracelets, a flower in her hair, & a necklace in a choker style that imitates Taiyo's collar. Her hair is tied up in the back with a golden clasp, & she's wearing Tynar Rouge.*

<I'm sorry...I'm too early, aren't I?>

Sab seemed horrified, "What do you mean, 'disappeared'?" She looked to the others and found Noct and Mortal both upset, though not as frantic.

"Could he have left on his own, or was he taken?" Noct asked.

"Still not enthused about today's festivities, I see," Zac said, "Good morning, by the way."

*Cassandra and Safian arrive and are forced to get ready for the event*

Safian:<I hate you.>

*Cassandra shrugs. The pair are bathed by Cassandra's parent's servants, and then end up with Cassandra's mother*

Cassandra's mother:<I have the most beautiful dresses for you both.>

Safian:<This better be one hell of a party.>

Taiyo: "No, no...I just uh...overslept?"

Azuma groans and sits up in his bed.

Azuma: "That thing's today?"

He puts his shoes on and shakes Mimiru awake.

Azuma: "Wake up. Taiyo needs to get ready and we're too uncivilized to be of any help."

Mimiru slugs him when she gets up.

Mimiru: "You were an aristocrat at one point."

Azuma: "Yes, but I live as one of the people."

Bickering the two leave after Azuma collects his armor having slept in his regular grungy clothes that he wears underneath. It's apparant Taiyo is the only one to have at not slept in her regular clothes.

Azuma: "Have fun."

*Aroma scratches her head.*

<Should I step out as you get ready?>

<They believe that he left.>

"It seemed rather early to get changed. Though perhaps I could have done my hair."

*She pushes aside a hair that had curled up around her scalp to hang in front of her eyes. Her braid is not in, so it's pretty much sticking every which way.*

"Ah," Noct said, "Well, then all should be well. He is healed enough to walk away."

"He is still unwell," Sab said, "He should have waited until the doctors were able to check on him."

"You can do it later," Zac said, "I've never seen you like this. It is cute." He motions to a plate of pancakes, "Would you care for some pancakes?"

*Safian ends up with a a set of robes and hat that reassemble a fancy verion of black mage robes, while Cassandra is in a long, blue dress with a shiny sliver chest plate on top*

Safian:<Even if I do look like a walking stereotype, this isn't very bad.>

Cassandra:<Yeah, thanks Mom.>

Cassandra's Mom:<No problem dear.>

Taiyo: "I don't think it matters. Unless there's nothing else to do besides change."

OOC: Who the Hell wears armor to a formal occasion?

<It is recommended to bathe before any formal function, then change into formal clothing and apply make-up and accessories as needed.>

*She sits down.*

"I'm sure he'll be fine. That's good. It takes a lot of worry off of my shoulders."

OOC: Knights.

Taiyo: "I know that. And I don't have make-up..."

OOC: Holy condescending.

"Great," Zac said, happy he got something she would enjoy. He went back to eating his eggs.

"I hope you're right," Sab said, "And I suppose it is good that he is up and about now."

OOC: Armor can be formal.

*Safian and Cassandra wait in the entrance hall while Cassandra's parents finish getting ready*

Safian;<Hurry up!>

OOC: Knights who want to look like tools.

<Maybe I don't understand what you're asking...and the make-up isn't really necessary. I believe you told me that you didn't want any.>

*After eating pancakes for a while, Lilith stands up.*

"I suppose I'd better get ready."
===============================
"Yeah. He wouldn't be able to walk away if he wasn't fine, right?"

"Unless he was a zombie," Mortal said.

Zac finished a few minutes ago, but remained sitting to enjoy Lilith's company. When she stood up he did as well, "I should finish up as well."

*Cassandra's parents get into a carriage, soon followed by Cassandra and Safian, then start off towards where ever the party is held*

Taiyo: "I was talking about if anything had to be done with my hair."

<Hmm...pig tails aren't really considered "in style," but I doubt you'll meet with too much resistance over it.>

*Lilith eventually returns, wearing her getup from the previous day.*

*Euryale looks horrified.*

"That can't be what happened! ...Can it?"

*The carriage stops in front of the palace gates, which are standing open for the event. There are a few scattered stragglers, looking out-of-place in suits that seem to be acquired by way of distant hand-me-downs.*

Taiyo: "Um...okay. I should probably change if we're going."

*Everyone gets out and walks towards the palace. Safian tries to distance herself from Cassandra's parents*

Zac looked at her and nodded, "Beautiful as always."

"Uh, I guess theoretically it might be possible, but I doubt that is what happened," Noct said, "I'm sure everything is fine."

*Euryale frowns in contemplation.*

"Maybe he'll see the notice, & go to the palace...oh, that reminds me, we should get ready."

*Euryale stands up.*

*She does that.*

"You also look...the same as ever."

*The courtyard is populated with bushes cut to resemble animals. Swans, elephants, Chocobos, Coeurls, even dragons. The path curves around a marble fountain spraying water up like a geyser, smaller jets bursting up around it every few seconds. As they approach the oak doors of the palace, open wide, music can be heard echoing from within.*
