There has been a lot of confusion about this term in the past, essentially because it means whatever I need it to mean at the time. So I have decided to make this topic clarifying the current definition. The definition we're using is the latest one listed, until it is next updated. "Active member" is a term that usually comes into play in determining whether or not an RP is considered to be "alive" and therefore does not need to be Stored. An RP that is running when the definition is changed will eventually have to adhere to the new definition, after several weeks have passed. An RP that hasn't started yet needs to adhere to the new definition right away, unless it was ready to start, but hadn't been moved yet.

"Active members" used to mean posting A LOT. Now it means posting without fucking off forever; logically it also means that there's more potential for more RPs starting up and more people joining RPs.

I'd say just being a member with the intention to post without fucking off for a month is qualifications enough. Hell, if I'm considered an active member after my abysmal display of being online regularly, as of late, then you should be again soon.
