After Hours: Episode 2

The force of their blades colliding popped Ami's shoulder out again, and she fell to the ground in pain.

Lune and Kaylee rush in at this point. "That's enough of this!"

As Lune interjected Videl's arm transformed back
"Yeah, this is enough." He agreed.
...
He blinked. Then he collapsed on the ground, blackout.

"Interesting."

Scene: The Hospital Wing of the school was relatively empty, Ami had her arm popped back in, lightly bandaged up and topped with a pack of ice. "Honestly, these kids are going to kill eachother" you could hear the nurse's echo. Videl was still sleeping, having used up all his physical and soul energy he was quite tired.
Now where are you? And why?

Lune is sitting outside because he doesn't have the keys to the apartment and thus can't get without Ami or Jackson. Kaylee is eating a lolipop and sitting next to him.

Being good friends with the injured, Dura and Sab had both decided to stay at the infirmary and make sure everyone was alright.

"Ami, you should really get some sleep," Jackson said.

"No."

"Come on, don't be like this. We called off the match, okay? You didn't lose or anything," he lied.

"Yeah, right. Videl was the last one standing."

"Ami, please--"

"Shut up, okay?" There was silence for a few seconds, until Ami spoke up again. "Hey, Cresswell?"

"...yes?"

"I just realized something..."

"What is it?"

"The two newbies have been stuck outside our dorm without a key for two hours now."

"..Oops."

"I thought about going to get them, but we wanted to make sure you two were okay," Dura said, stepping in from the hall, "Glad to know you guys were in here just shooting the breeze." She finished smiling.

"Should I go get them?" Sab asked, waving at Jackson and Ami.

"Yea, if nothing else keep them company until the key arrives."

"Or I could just get the key from Ami or Jackson and let them in their room."

"That is infinitely smarter than my idea. What would I do without you?"

"Honestly?"

"I'd prefer you lie to me."

"You'd be a well functioning part of society with goals, and responsibility."

"Someone give her a key so she can stop being mean to me."

Jackson fished it out of his pocket and tossed the key to Sab. "Thanks a lot," he said.

Videl was a jerk.
An unconscious jerk.

Lune walks in and with Kaylee, "That was a good match."

Sab caught it, looks at the new arrival, and tosses it back, "Never mind then."

"No it wasn't, I failed..." Ami muttered. She covered her face with her arms and curled up into a ball.

"Oh, hey, you guys. Sorry we locked you out," Jackson said, putting the key back in his pocket.

"Its fine" Lune walked over and patted Ami on the head gently.

Kaylee poked her.

Lune shook his head at Kaylee and she stopped.

Ami smiled weakly at them. "Thanks a lot, guys," she said.

"Friends and all that" Lune gave her the thumbs up.

Dura smiled, "Yes, yes, hugs all around. You should be proud, you fought with a dislocated shoulder for most of that fight, and still managed to do pretty well."

Ami's smile widened into a grin. "You guys are starting to make me feel better." Without warning, Ami got up from her bed and walked towards the door.

"Where are you going?" Jackson asked.

"To Videl. Need to congratulate him."

Dura and Sab followed.

Videl layed in his hospital bed, bandaged from the fight.
His eyes were closed, presumed to be sleeping. Who knows?

Ami poked her head into his room and glanced at him. "Aw well, he's asleep, let's go," she said, turning around.

Jackson, who had tagged along as well, looked at her incredulously.

Lune laughs then his stomach growls, "Uggggh... food."

Videl lifted his head quietly, making sure they wouldn't hear him.
He watched they're backs leave and quietly put hid head back down.
For a moment he glanced to see if anyone had come back.

"I have chocolate!" Ami cried happily. "Want some?" she asked, holding out a piece.

Jackson, who was still at the door, saw Videl's eyes open slightly. "Nice job fighting," he whispered, smiling.

"Yea, it was. So, you coming or are you too banged up?" Dura asked from the door as well.
