Sins of the Father

*The last Warrior Monk just runs the Hell away.*

Ingrid casts Flare on him.

"I guess the Sinspawn must be in the Temple...but this entrance will probably be harder to find."

*She enters the temple, to the gasps of the monks, nuns, and patrons inside.*

*Hitomi follows Luna into the temple.*

*Ark follows them inside the temple like a boss, making sure to keep his swirly eyes wide opened as usual.*

"Alright, I think they're closer to the Chamber of the Fayth."

<Heathens! Why are you ransacking the Temple? Have you no shame!?>

Ark: <You're the heathen. Go away.>

*Ark walks up the stairs and kicks the Cloyster of Trials door opened.*

*Being quite confident the door opens by rising, Hitomi just stares at him like he's stupid.*

*Luna stops in the middle of a hallway & stares at a wall.*

"It's through here...but I don't know how to open the door...wait, maybe we're going about this the wrong way. Okay, the Rebel Crusaders knew a lot about these labs, right? But they're all dead...so?"

Ingrid raised her eyebrows, "I'm not a heathen. Can you be a heathen by association?"

"Yes. I think we should go to the Farplane."

"I don't think so... I have not done anything truly heathenish... wait... there was that Ronso... and those guards... and Yunalesca... dammit, why are you such a bad influence on me?" Ingrid huffed, "Because I hang out with you guys people are justified when they insult me in the street..."

Ark: <I like how at this point we've done so much crap they just skip the fact I'm an Al Bhed.>

"Missing the point! Like Ingrid pointed out, we killed a lot of people. Including the ones who were originally ranting about these facilities. With any luck, the Abyssal Blades won't hold a grudge against us, and will tell us what we want to know."

Ingrid keeps quiet, still a bit upset that she will probably be excommunicated because of all this.

Ark: <You want to go see that Lilith chick we killed and ask her for information. Sounds like plan!>

"Do you have a better idea? Even as we speak, there's a good chance more Warrior Monks are coming."

Ark: <I'm just saying. Let's go.>

"Well, we've got to do something. Lets stop bickering and just get on with it."

*Sure enough, as soon as they leave the temple, there's 3 more warrior monks, this time with 2 golem-looking things. One being essentially human with no neck & huge fists, the other being like a flying torso with guns for arms. The lattermost enemy lowers its weapons & fires a pair of shells at Hitomi because I hate her.*

*Hitomi casts Protect on herself followed by Firaga on the YAT-97 or 99. It doesn't matter as they're both weak to fire.*

Protect, reflect on herself, Flare on one of the monks.

*By the time she tries to cast Flare, she's doused in fire from said monk's flamethrower. He seemed to start at the crotch. The other monks fire at Hitomi & Luna, the YAT blasting 2 shells into the air.*

*Hitomi casts Protect on Luna then another Firaga on the YAT.*

*Ark casts Haste on himself and dashes forward, stabbing at one of the monks busy shooting at the girls and trying to steal from him.*
