That seems like a bad idea... saying "Jean Claude Vaan" leaves me waiting for the "Dam" at the end. And even the original always made me think of children's cartoons (for some reason).

I think my very first was Joseph. He was a Pyramid Head demon from a Silent Hill roleplay. He was ADD, loved chasing butterflies and scratching drawings into pavement with his great knife, and talked in very simple words. example, if he wanted to go to the amusement park, which is one of his favourite places in the universe, he'd say "Fun Park." One of his famous quotes was "joseph haaaaate." whenever he expresses dislike for someone or something. It was later revealed that his brain thinks in very poetic, complex sentences, but he just can't speak like that and instead speaks in oversimplified sentences, leading people to believe that he is stupid. Poor Joseph.

Crone to be the Light/Dream counterpart and partner of Darkness/Nightmare Lilith, in KH: The Dream Cores. And Olympe to be a supportive character meant to die at some point for ToM.

In Vaan's case, you are entirely right.

In everyone's case.

Balthier, Gabranth, and Basch are cool. Everyone else was meh at best. In my opinion at least.

Lune was born off site on a site called Post Apocalypse.

Alto was born in a collaborative fiction set of interlocking stories between me and three others friends called Novus Lux lucis Fantasia.

Creed was born in the same collab fic. Though appearance wise he's based on a different but similar Creed from another RP site.

Seraph was born on PA same as Lune.

and Lucien was born in ToM.

Regarding Final Fantasy XII: I'm impressed by Fran. Regardless of which kind of terrain it was - be it forest, plains or snow - she always, ALWAYS managed to run about without tripping or breaking her ankles. And that she didn't get frostbitten in Paramina Rift.

I blame it on the fact that she is part bunny. They have surprisingly high agility.

The writers bullshitted some ridiculous handwave that their feet makes it so they have to wear high heels, or else they can't walk properly.

That alone should be sufficient explanation for why I hate this game.

Well, I have said numerous times that the Viera are poorly justified Fetish Fuel.

Which sums up Fran's entire character.

Which, coupled with Vaan, Penelo, etc. reflects on the quality of the cast.

And the pointlessness of these characters informs the shittiness of the plot.

So, there you have it.

Fran was Balthier's Chewbacca, that was more than enough justification seeing as how XII is Star Wars with chocobos instead of light sabers.

There isn't enough good stuff in the entire game to justify making 1 character.
